The Jaipur International Airport is all set to bid farewell to its international terminal, the Terminal No. 1. Come July 16 and all the domestic and international flights to and fro at the Sanganer Airport in Jaipur will be taken care by the Terminal 2, which hitherto catered solely to domestic air traffic. Terminal 1 would be solely closed from July16.
Instead the terminal building will now be remodeled to exclusively handle cargo, which is the weakling of Jaipur airport, considered one of the best airports of the country. The terminal once closed would solely take care of Cargo handling and will be remodeled as full fledged Cargo Complex within a year.
